Bit of a weird dig

Amongst other things, he was the only player out of midfield to sprint back when they should have made it 0-3 just before they eventually did score

Yeah he literally stopped that. A bit weird calling Bannan out after that. He's 35 year old playing in a team with about 3 players capable of playing at this level. Tbh its remarkable we have won a game this season

They were there for the taking if we played like a team like we have ..

It was like they didn't know each other ... only Amas and Horvarth came out of that with any credit

The funniest thing is dem blades think they are getting playoffs now .. but we can all see they just really are poo and we gifted them everything

And once again wilders throw yourself on the floor and get a foul tactics worked - fell for it every time except the real one in front of the stand which Max Lowe completely took out their defender beautifully

The OP is 100% correct. Not once has he turned up in a Sheffield derby or an actual important game. Credit due for his service but it’s time to hang your boots up Barry.

As zippy is your picture, pull the zip til you’ve sobered up

This is so true, never had a good game against United. Ugbo though never had a good game.

We haven't got a player who has had a good game against them for about 15 years. What's Bannan supposed to do? Wilder is a thick bit everyone knows you just get close to Bannan and you shut us down.

Houdini would be impressed by how quickly he disappears in these matches

Incredibly harsh. Hes got ugbo and lowe to aim for.

Give over. To get anywhere near them they would have to put in a poor performance today. Technically superior everywhere on the pitch. Only Bannan and Amass could get in their first 11.

I wish fans like you would disappear. Bet you’ve been waiting weeks to write this.

This is 100%. We're poo . I wonder if there has been a team so unprepared to play 2nd division football? They're half fit, little coaching, bringing their own tape at times. I think if Bannan hadn't re-signed, we wouldn't have got a team out against Leicester

There for the taking?! From the point that Svante didn't make anything of that Bannan ball we were toast. They looked a league above us.

We were reyt balls. As this is a Bannan thread, I'll say I felt sorry for him. I was frustrated that he wasn't lighting it up, but then I saw his head drop after Lowe failed to do anything with a lovely ball early in the second half and I thought, 'yeah, he's got nothing around him.'

Thought he was one of our better players in a poor performance.

Must be difficult with those three forwards in front of him - sometimes he plays an inch-perfect pass and they make it look like a bad pass because they are running through treacle.

Bannan wasn’t the problem. Basically man marked out the game. There was no space to receive it in so that’s why he went wondering to try influence the game

They pressed well

This.^….Wilder made sure he had no space to play.
