Don’t blame the players or HP; blame Chansiri

I’d be able to accept the exhaustion excuse a little bit easier if we didn’t concede in the first 10 mins of pretty much every half we play

We’ve expected a performance like today all season, but why the f@@k today of all days. Would love to see us go one up against a wilder team and see what he’s got!! 

I agree in that if you play the same 11 baring one or two, week in week out then two things are going to happen. Injuries, and a team that can't go 90 mins because they are absolutely knackered despite an international break. You can't change the formation too much because we are already playing players out of natural positions.

That said, I thought we were lazy in our passing, in out thought process and decision making all over the park. For me, today, I'd have tried to make it difficult for them all over the park. Challenge for everything, give them no space, no time. Literally a cup tie. Sadly, we did none of that and received a thumping which could have easily been 5 or 6. Thank goodness it wasn't.

while chansiri takes some blame he doesn’t take the blame for players not running properly, not tracking back, not putting effort in. He doesn’t take the blame for Pederson persisting with ugbo.  He doesn’t take the blame for Bannan not turning up in a derby again.

It's not like we're demanding this group go out and win every game, as a bare minimum I'd have thought they would have had a go for 45 minutes in our biggest game of the season. 

We know these players will make mistakes, we know they'll tire and we know we don't have the quality to come off the bench but come on, not a single shot on target? We didn't even fancy putting the f**king corner in the box when we had it. 

It's like we're scared of the thought of even going ahead in a game because of the expected collapse that'll come after it.

That's not a lack off effort. That's a lack of quality, a lack of awareness, a lack of composure...

I can accept that. What I can’t accept is that we're asking players like that to play the ball around in those areas. Iorfa is limited, to say the least. Head things, clear things. Stick to doing that.

Blame Chansiri for leaving the most recent 2 managers to think Ugbo is the best option we have upfront.

Disagree tbh. We were abysmal, 12th man fans….team looked like they’d been on pišs last night. Only Amass comes outta that with anything positive!

The players can’t put a lack of heart, desire and courage in a derby game on Chansiri 

They need to take their own criticism on this one. We’ve seen they can compete and stay in games against much better teams this season

Difficult one cos while I agree it's DC that has dealt the hand that HP is having to work with.. I also like some question the team selection. For me Ugbo and Lowe off nothing.. there's no outlay for midfield and that causes constant pressure. We also have a keeper who scares the poo out of our defence and his distribution is shocking. Charles is a big miss.. let's be reyt.. we're going down no matter who he picks each week. I just wish we'd put up more of a fight against that lot.

When there's a plethora of other strikers available...

Chumpster didn’t influence them to be passive, be unable to control the ball or pass the ball aimlessly today. I’ve forgiven a lot this season and rightly so, but the players were terrible,  their work rate and basic ability even worse. The manager showed his lack of experience and tactical nous today Completely.
Today was unforgivable no matter what the circumstances. This season is in the bin so please do something innovative something we can talk about, recognise as giving it a go, something worth paying for!
