Popular Post Matt_1 Posted 1 hour ago Popular Post Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I honestly couldn’t give a flying fizz about today’s result. They’ll be dancing on the tables in the Banner Cross, fair enough, but let’s be real, this is the worst Wednesday side any of us can remember. We’re up against last year’s play-off finalists, who beat us twice last season, and we’ve got worse in pretty much every department since then. Don’t let this one ruin your weekend. Better times are on the horizon. Edited 1 hour ago by Matt_1 1 4 34
Worthing_owl Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago AsYazz said the only way is up. We will be back, better and stronger.
paulrs Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I agree. Still quite a tough watch, listening to the scrubbers singing songs praising Chansiri, but I'm already over it. There's no huge credit to them beating our ramshackle bunch. There's a far bigger picture to what's going on at Wednesday, results on the pitch are of little consequence this season - even against the porcine mob. 3
McRightSide Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago To the contrary - today the only thing that really mattered was the result as the season was over long ago 1

I’ll take a 0-3 loss at home and a 3-0 loss away if it meant the end of Chansiri. 2 1 6
SiJ Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) 4-2 was a lot worse. Today was just a bit crap tbh. We shat the bed after 10 minutes and never really recovered. They'll no doubt lap it up, but they are still in the bottom three. They're are not exactly the first team to comfortably beat us at home this season. Edited 1 hour ago by SiJ 6

Colinwestzicoest Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I hope those stains stay up so we're free of their inappropriate arrogance & Wilders bullsh*t olive branch Bannan and Palmer servants praise straight after he's set up a champions league final celebration in front of leppings lane at an empty Hillsborough, embarrassed for them quite frankly. 1
lukeyswfc Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Genuinely not fazed by it. The 3rd was disappointing but I’ve spent the last 2 weeks telling my United friends when they’ve messaged me they’re about to see how bad we actually are. Theyve played it down scared all season and after the game even they have text me saying they didn’t really celebrate it until the third went in. Both games last season were massively more disappointing than this. Even Wilder was subdued in his press conference after.

I’d rather have a year away from them so we can then meet them again in 2 seasons having got into a position where we actually have a squad whilst they will likely be weaker if they are stuck in the champ without parachute payments 1
SiJ Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago What did irk a bit was towards the end where they broke on us and you could see most of the team standing there or jogging back. That's not down to a quality issue. Suppose some would be dead on their feet a bit, but that was the first league match in two weeks. I just thought there were a few who gave up a bit early doors which is a tad disappointing. 1 4
TINGLE75 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Easiest game they’ll have this season. More gutted that he was in directors box 1
Jeffjohnsonmyhero Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Don’t get too wound up we have a tired team that on paper can not compete with teams now.Need some additions to help us .But I will tell you this upfront in league 1 we will need a unit with some aggression to lead the line.Did their best but need to build for next season in January window. 1
OwususFirstTouch Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Result doesn't bother me, the lack of effort from our side and how easy we gifted it to them does. Roll on next season. 3
