Beats me why. The truth is though that if you have quality players, at some stage their quality will click and they will play really well. If they can't do it for a big game like tomorrow they are really going to be in deep poo . We have been playing out of our skins but if the truth be told we can still only get draws. The lack of experience in our squad shows through now and again and it costs us. It's not the fault of the players, they are doing their best, it's not the fault of the manager or the fans, it's down to our ex owner. We can't expect anything from the game tomorrow but we can hope we get something. We need a fresh start with a great new owner, then we can start to build a squad that can get us out of L1 and move us to a different level. 1
meadowview owl Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Il take not losing and scoring first derby goal since Lucas Joao 2017!! 1-1 3
myHero Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/nov/22/sheffield-wednesday-sheffield-united-steel-city-derby-history-championship Just been reading this. Apparently they always expect something to go wrong even when they are winning, whereas we are all sure we'll be playing in the Champions League one day... Both completely irational points of view, but both completely true... 1

myHero Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago This is what they Fear, its been hijacked, kidnapped and subdued, but its back in old Hillsborough town... 7
Furious George Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago What is football about, if not games like this. Defeatist, scared, sending messages to your friends how bad we are. Swear down, I said to a pig mate the other day this game is no longer a race to the top, it's a race to the bottom. They're so scared they keep telling me how bad they are, instead of how good they should be. We've got this. 3

Both completely irational points of view, but both completely true... My dad has always said similar about the two fanbases. When we went into that Wycombe game all those years ago, it was a party atmosphere and it felt like there was no doubt we'd get the job done. In the same circumstances, United fans would be waiting for it all to go wrong. I do think we've got far more eternal optimists among our number than they have. Just look at the way we've drawn up plans for a new stadium on here since the club was put into administration, for starters... 2 1 1
Fablon Dunlop Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago 2-1 win for us. Lowe - worldie, right foot, top corner from just outside the box around 20th minute. Ugbo - goal on 85th minute. I have foreseen it. Don't eat beans in front of people. 1
Jeffjohnsonmyhero Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago What would you take a 2-0 win and Chansiri still in charge or lose and a bright future for our club.I have had it in bookies today looking like some big money people coming in for your lot .I said I have heard so .Trying to make out then pigs are the underdogs i said come on all your £20-30000 a week players should beat ours ,Said me we have a cleaner on the bench,Mate who is an owl said we have a lollipop pop man in goal. They are really cacking them selves.Feck them blades 1
Avon barksdale Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Both teams are under pressure to win , they’re massively under performing and need to turn it around soon. We haven’t beat them for 14 year which could quite easily be 16 plus soon.
wakefieldowl Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I don’t think I have ever been so unwound up for a derby. i honestly can’t see us winning as our home form is so bad, but they aren’t that good either. I think it’s about the bigger picture now. fingers crossed we are on the verge of a very bright future, hopefully revolutionary they know that and they are terrified at the start of the season we all knew we were already relegated and they thought they were going up. They must be shell shocked Hope we win tomorrow obviously but it’s all about the future for us now though 2 1 1
parkfieldowl14 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Tbh, The Blunts are more likely to win tomorrow. But in the Longer run should if they fail to get in to the Top 6 come May, which i very much doubt that they will, Then tomorrow's result will be absolutely meaningless at the end of the season no matter what Piggy Wilder says. 1 2

You know, I see people at work go to the canteen, get their beans format meal and they eat those beans while sat, just casually talking to their colleagues. It was an orange affair Those beans over there Their jacket spuds Canteen duds The lips on you Rang orange Beans 1 1
