Ok mate I miss him and would love him to be in that team tomorrow, I know I would have left as fast as he did in the summer, well that's a lie, as I would have gone well before that. He said it's just another day at swfc, that in itself tells me enough Windass was amazing for us, yes he sometimes went missing, but for the big games like tomorrow he was always there, how we miss him now. 1 1 9

leftpeg Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Windass had plenty of chances to leave before and stuck around, was one of our stand out players for the last 3 seasons and tbh deserves the chance of a crack at stepping up a level and the Netflix money. Hope he gets a good reception, Top player for us over an extended period, and scored one of the most important goals in the last 10 years. 4 5
Chadders Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I hope he has a couple of pints before he starts yapping. 2

sheffield_dave Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Windass still has a playing career to think about, but I suspect he’s going to be talking about football online and doing media work for the rest of most of our lives. I still put him as our best shot of getting the proper tell all about DC whenever he feels the time is right to do it. 3

KhilPing Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Can’t blame him. In his 30’s, offered a 3 year deal on more money and was in a shitshow here at the time, continually not getting paid, club falling apart and an owner who was known for moving the goal posts at the last minute on deals. 2
Shifty Powers Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Our biggest loss in the summer. Yes he maybe a touch arrogant, but he is a very good footballer at this level. Can never understand the hate he gets tbh. 1 6
