There's  acceptable and then there's the very best option. 

Just about anyone is better than our previous owner but this is our chance to get an owner who will drag this club up to the Premier and set it up for very  a long and bright future.

We just have to hope the very best possible owner is committed enough to make an outstanding  offer.

I fear disappointment amongst the fan base if someone like DC gets the gig and constantly bickers with the fans. 
 

We need a very wealthy sensible winner who goes about the job with the fans in mind with every major decision they make.  
 

I would think in this day of age of self entitlement that finding an owner to suit all tastes would be nigh on impossible.

Is there a long term plan (not based on wishes and dreams) to progress the club?

If the names of all the bidders leak out I can't imagine that there won't be a thread or two on here advocating the merits of our own preferred bidders as opposed to the successful buyer. That said, if we get the perfect combination of an owner with deep pockets and vision they can all shut up

I don’t think it’ll be a problem. Whatever happens, we’ll be in a better place and that’s all that really matters to the fans. All the anticipation and guessing about new owners is just a bit of fun, and most people are enjoying it.

Instead, we could have been heading into the new year with Chansiri still in charge… the nightmare before Christmas.

I think it’s a coping mechanism for some people… I know people that constantly predict the negative outcome so aren’t disappointed if it happens, but most of the time it doesn’t. 

Surely we have to get behind whoever wins ownership until they prove otherwise. The changes required to make us competitive at the Premiership level will be a long process but there will be some quick wins along the way so hopefully they will have identified these in a sensible and well thought out plan to get us there. Some patience is required which is not easy for someone who has followed the club for over 60 years and may not see it back at the top level but, hopefully, the journey will be entertaining and exciting.

Whoever takes over must be given time. It won't be a quick fix to sort the club out. I just hope they  have a long term plan and keep the fans updated.  Uto
