United were a bottom three side coming into today like ourselves, we know they have the better players and we all expected to get beat but to fail to get a shot on target for the entire duration of the game in a Steel City derby when they are arguably at their worst is beyond poor and should be called out.

We have a lack of quality when it comes to playing 90 minutes, I'd expect us to at least try and compete for 45 with the players we do have.

That narrative is flawed. We’ve played better against better teams than United!! 
Baffles me that people refuse to take off the blue tinted spectacles off.  You can’t dress that up performance up.  It was garbage.

The players let us all down today 

There is no excuse for losing this game.  We needed to find a way to compete and we didn’t.  We had to stop them playing, win the second balls, stay tight, win personal battles - win didn’t do this, and there are no excuses for not doing this.  We lost 3.0 at home to the pigs, but it’s ok because the administrator’s an Owls fan and we’ve got new bobble hats in the shop - bullish.t.  That was a disgrace, top to bottom.  No excuses.  

They were faster to most of the second balls, about half our team did not look up for the fight or a Derby game and were playing to avoid injuries.

Very poor one sided match, when you get out fought and out thought by Wilderbeast it is worrying.  I know Ugbo is prime problem child number one but I was disappointed in a few of the senior players today.

The occasion got to a few of them, but the timid way we surrendered the ball every time was the most worrying part.

Cant think of a worse performance in a such a big game.

Glad it’s out of the way and we can begin looking forward. Roll on the 5th December!

Speechless. What did people expect? They closed us down and didn't give us a minute on the ball. We don't have the skill to beat that and if we'd have gone flying in they'd have beaten our press cos they've got about 100 million quids worth of players. Chill out, we've got bigger things on the horizon.

Why weird?  You want to keep congratulating yourself for getting rid of Chansiri all the way to the 4th division.  It’s great that he’s gone, the trust did a wonderful job, but this is a football team and football teams have to win games, and especially this one.  They bottled it, no plan, no proper shape, no fighting for every ball, like they used to do to us when we had a team that was miles better.  
 

Right now I don’t care about how many people went to the club shop, I just feel sick that we went down without a fight and there is no excuse for that.  The honeymoon is over now.
