Popular Post patolookalike Posted Thursday at 18:16 Popular Post Posted Thursday at 18:16 I got shouted down last time I said this but comparing Sheffield and Birmingham is silly. Birmingham has a population of over 2million people. Sheffield 500k. Birmingham is a hub of business and entertainment and tourists even go there. Birmingham is better connected to most of the UK by rail. Birmingham also has an international airport. I'm not saying anything about Birmingham City FC vs Sheffield Wednesday FC. But the potential in terms of the cities? Birminghams miles and miles ahead. 2 10

Kevan Posted Thursday at 18:23 Posted Thursday at 18:23 The external design looks awful with the chimneys. Inside it looks great, though. Problem for us is finding a site.
stumps Posted Thursday at 18:26 Posted Thursday at 18:26 ...and it looks a mess!! This is my fear about our takeover, that someone comes in and wants to move us to some monstrosity like this!! Nothing against a move if we have to but not to something that looks like that! 2

Half the reason the National Centre for popular music never took off. People just don't come to Sheffield for a day out, sadly. 6
