Short term, yeah I agree but new owners really need to change how the club recruits from next season! I’m sick of us being a last chance payday for players over 30! When they got paid of course!!

Not really, they are bending the rules to let us sign 2.

DC is to blame for the state we are in. 

EFL have done wonders to help us get rid of DC and are now letting us sign 2 players we aren't  really entitled to under the embargoes. The fact that we have supported the club to an amazing level has allowed them give us this leeway.

Correct.

The EFL are concerned about making sure we can fulfil our fixtures for the rest of the season.  They aren't trying to do us any favours.

As debts will be cleared when we come out of Admin*, the ones that are in force because we owe money will be removed. The 6 window ban on transfers where we pay fees will remain. The new owners will try to get that removed/reduced. They might get it reduced to 2 windows if we are very lucky but I seriously doubt it will be completely removed. Other clubs will object, the ban was on SWFC not Chansiri so they would have a point.

I think that covers all the embargoes. If I've missed some I'm sure someone will soon point it out.

*In admin the administrators collect all the money and then distribute it to those owed money. That is considered as the debts being settled (for practical purposes anyway) . 

Watmore for me over Redmond..  gives Svante option in CM for his energy and id revert Valery to RWB.  Then in Jan Palms in that role.. although RWB /LWB is a young mans role for energy levels these days like Amass on the left.  Fusire done really well shame we'll lose him and Valery at the same time for Afcon.

Both Watmore and Redmond have had serious injury issues, like many free agents, and as such we'd be taking a big risk signing them.

I'd like us to widen the net and look at what free agents are available from abroad.

Anybody remember her from X Factor, Sarah Whatmore?

They're signings that are being sanctioned, and are needed, because we desperately need bodies. We need to give players a rest. The squad needs rotational options urgently before AFCON & the christmas period starts. 

 

We're not out of the woods as a club. These are beggars can't be choosers times. 

 

Chuffed with Liam Cooper as a signing. If I got to choose, I'd prefer Redmond over Watmore. But tbh I'm hoping Watmore hangs on for the takeover and we can get him in also as I've always felt he's a handy forward.

Unfortunately neither Watmore or Redmond have good injury records, certainly in the last few years. So I can understand why there maybe some hesitancy. The last thing we need is to sign a player that never gets fit for long enough to play more than a couple games given our current squad situation

I suppose having an owner who will, even if they've never owned a football club, will have someone  as DOF who will have a proper strategy for the football side instead of a fuckwit owner

LLoungo didn't have a good injury record with us. Hardly missed a game when he left
