SiJ Posted November 9 Posted November 9 He's winning the games that Rangers should be winning which is more than can be said for the previous bloke. He's also managed to get them on side by respecting their traditions - the suit etc. They've got a bang average side atm, so if he can get them to finish say 2nd or 3rd and perhaps win a cup, then that would be an excellent season. As for how long he sticks around there, I'd think he sees Rangers as a great opportunity to get some silverware on his CV as a manager. Give it a couple of seasons and who knows.
owls maniac Posted November 9 Posted November 9 We won the lottery with Röhl and Chansiri blew it like he did with every talented person he brought into the club. Such a missed opportunity. 3 2 1

Such a missed opportunity. It's clear they would have fallen out regardless of whether there were financial issues or not. Seems like Danny's popularity with the fanbase irked Channers to no end. Bit like Darren Moore, he could never fathom why managers, players etc., get all the platitudes and owners do not. 1

Tavernier excellent corner for the first and Gas and Mag both on the pitch. Just so so feckinnng frustratingly annoying .. Who's Mag? I'm so confused and might be missing something obvious. 1
Hawkinsfootballboots Posted November 9 Posted November 9 He’ll win the league next season, record points total. Good showing in champions league as well as they will finish 2nd this season. A very big club will take notice and off he will go, probably back to Germany. The guy is destined for big things, good luck to him, glad we got 1 and 1/2 seasons with him and when he wins the World Cup with Germany in the future we will have the satisfaction of saying, ‘he started with us’ 1 2

Lookjng at the lineups I can only imagine that with Rangers having a player called Jayden Meghoma (aged 19) he's somehow confusing him with our ex player Jacques Maghoma from over a decade ago (now 38 years old and retired in 2022). 6

Rangers have won it once in the last 14 seasons (albeit they weren't in the SPL for some of those). 1

It is Jacques Maghoma, Jayden Meghoma is a regen.

This is what I thought at first, even checked that this Meghoma wasn't on loan or at our youth setup! At least I'm not going mad.
Mighty Quinn Posted November 10 Posted November 10 He could also have done what Barry and Pederson did and carried on.. 1 2
CalmJimmers Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Got no problem with anyone leaving in the past 6 months or so. Hope he's a success and comes back when we're aiming for out 6th Champions League in a row. 1 1 2
