But I'm going to miss out to someone who has been bought one by a mate who has a season ticket who might never have been to a football match before! I paid for a membership for my daughter so she would be able to get a ticket for the game. Turns out i could have bought her one anyway. Maybe the upcoming ticket prices being lower than season ticket holders have paid is being offset slightly by giving them advance purchasing of derby tickets. Messaging is a bit off for this one though whetever the intention was

Didn't Brighton make TTP? Naturally, if you don't attend many games and don't hold a membership, you are at a massive disadvantage - that's just how loyality points and memberships work.

You can't have attended that many yourself if you didn't have enough TTP for the Brighton game. Pretty sure my dad got one with less than 50 TTP (which is 5 games or less over two seasons). He's a proper fair weather fan (after 50 years as a STH!)!!
ChrisWaddlesMullet Posted November 4 Posted November 4 My memory may be failing me, as it was almost 10 years ago, but I went to about 10 games that year and still couldn’t get a ticket. That year there were many more offers on so I only had to pay the ridiculous full price once. If I remember correctly membership was even more than it is now! And to be clear, I’m absolutely fine with loyalty being rewarded with priority for tickets. The question is should that extend to additional home tickets ahead of members and general sale? 1

Fair enough mate. Think memberships were well priced that season - was the season after when the previous owner hiked them; on the back of a massive influx of membership sales for the Play Off Final if memory serves me correctly. I guess STH's don't get much back for the money they chuck in and crap they endure, so it's difficult to begrudge them an extra ticket they can give to a partner/kid for the big games. 1 1

We should have more with how much we fork out 3 1

Now I'm on the outside looking in somewhat. Just not bothered...
Castleford Owl Posted November 4 Posted November 4 8422 - at an average price of probably £35, that's a good £80k or so into the club's coffers today, just from this.
Castleford Owl Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Ironically, November may end up as one of the highest monthly revenues in the club's history.
