That beggars belief Because of the political storm whipped up through irresponsible comments made by members of government, including the PM. People will look back on this time and wonder what on earth had gone wrong with a country that meant it decided to throw so much weight behind a foreign country as it carried out a genocide thousands of miles away. 1 1

Give over, there was only 1 group causing issues, making it unsafe for others. 1 that showed intolerance and refused to integrate with British values, women’s rights, gay rights, It’s incredible how anyone defends them. We have got to a position where their views decide who can come and play football in the UK. It would be a disgrace if anything like that happened in Sheffield. Based on the reasons given, then Millwall should never be allowed to play in Birmingham 1 1 1 1

But you carry on. British values, by the way. Put the dog whistle away and just say what you mean. 1 2 3

Let me know which one treats you best. MTA hooligans the reason, please, that’s the first set of hooligans to get an entire away team banned from a game in the UK in a long time. And fair to say we’ve seen a lot worse come over or locally. Edited November 7 by BowOwl 1 4
Liam_Baggies Posted November 7 Posted November 7 “Death to the IDF” ”From the rivers to the sea” ”Allahu Akbar” and then fireworks launched at Villa supporters. Those pesky Israelis. Coming into Birmingham last night with their hooliganism and hatred. Oh. 2 2 1 1
beswetherick Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Interesting to hear the Villa fans’ view of last night, as people who were just there to watch the football. https://www.villatalk.com/topic/26911-possible-boycott-disruption-or-cancellation/page/86/#comments

I think a few people talking about how quiet it was under estimate the power of a big police presence. Quite a few saying it wasn't necessary as it was so quiet , but that's because the presence of the rozzers had done achieved exactly what it was supposed to.

Agreed, I said weeks ago that the authorities were in a position where they had to pick the least worst option following their risk assessment and from what those Villa fans described it sounds like they did that.
SnowyOwl13 Posted November 7 Posted November 7 700 police officers for a match with no away fans. But the problem is with the Israelis of course. 6
