Early Bird Season Tickets - not permitted?

In 2023/24 they were announced to go on sale for 8th December 2023 https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2023/december/202425-season-tickets-on-sale-friday/ They didn't go on sale until 29th January 2024.

I am sure that the reason was to do with the EFL and financial irregularities. We are in a much worse position now. Surely the EFL will stop them going on sale Early again. The club cant even show it can fulfil this season let alone next season.

Even if the EFL can't stop them (I think they can) surely the Football Regulator will be able to.

If they do go on sale and enough people buy them that will take him till January and then he will sell what he can, which then could keep him on till the end of the season. 
 

Not to mention TV/EFL money.

This period is so vital to starving him out, if he gets till January we are screwed.

I don't think he is allowed to sell them.

I thought it was something to do with no credit card company willing to provide a service to the club.

Wasn't that the year where it was either cash in ticket office or PayPal online?

That’s the thing, even if you are definitely getting one, you can wait until the last minute. He wouldn’t be able to fund us till the end of the season. Stay strong and we will win!

Can he guarantee Wednesday will still be around at the start of next season, and if you buy what are the chances of getting your money back if Wednesday cease to trade, other than blind loyalty to Wednesday the club, you wouldn't part with a penny if that was another company after your money.

The earlier he puts them on sale the more it confirms there simply is no money, and I'm convinced now that few people will buy.  I don't know anyone who will renew while he's here. 

Purely from a financial point of view you would be at serious risk of losing ALL your money.   

Boycotts, marches, protests, pitch invasions and a huge drop in season tickets sales.   Show him we don't want him here.

Nobody would give money to a company who may not be in existence when the purchase becomes active. 

It's like buying gift vouchers and the company goes bust.

Yep, that is spot on.

Remember the farce with people walking down Halifax Road with hundreds of ££££ in their pocket & others blowing the dust off their chequebook.

I guarantee some will still hand him money for their 'early bird' season tickets whenever he puts them on sale.

Anyone buying a ST and there not being a club at the start of next season would be covered under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act if they paid by credit card.

Won't be renewing early or anytime while Thai boy is  around.

For this season though the creation card payment was not available and this was a good way of paying, interest free over 9 months. Does any one know why this method was pulled

Have said before anyone who renews is mad but especially on The North when you don't even know if you will be able to sit in your seat as he wont do the repairs if he's still around next summer
