Thaksin Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Not in the know, but got a sneaky suspicion if Röhl goes to Rangers, he will come in for Gassama. 5
SiJ Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I was actually in Glasgow recently and thought it was half decent tbh. In saying that, I didn't bother venturing near either Ibrox or Celtic Park. Rangers were playing Hibs in the cup. Nearly went, and then said f*ck that when I was told they don't serve alcohol in Scottish grounds. 1

Ever been to Glasgow south side suburbs numpty? Their houses and flats are much better than yours and not full of the knuckle draggers that live in Maidstone.
BIG D Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Went to Glasgow for a couple of nights last year and was very impressed. Danny Röhl would have no problem up there and it would be a good stepping stone for him.

I can understand his frustration but I think he needs to lower his expectations a bit, maybe look to take on something like a stable championship club, get them promoted and keep them in the prem, then he could get a mid tier prem job and do well with them maybe take them into Europe, go quite far, then maybe Champions League teams would look at him.. He needs to come home when Chansiri has gone 1 3

We can’t do anything with Chansiri as owner

I personally think it’s hilarious. He massively overestimated his own abilities. He needed to get a job straight away. The longer he’s out of a job, the harder it will be. 1

SiJ Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Tbf, I'd suggest most managers probably overestimate their abilities a little. I mean, you've got to have an awful lot of self belief to succeed in something like football management, right? If Danny Röhl is going to make it to the top, part of that will be his own self belief and thinking he's good enough to do so.
talon Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Remember going up there to see us play in a friendly, and being served a ‘Loyalist Burger’ in the concourse 1
scram Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago I've been to Rangers training ground Not only is it a very good facility but its in a lovely location Scotland generally is a beautiful country And just for the record it's not compulsory to live within 500yds of the stadium But I get what Martin saying about his time there yet the fact is he just wasn't ready for a job of that complexity and pressure Stupid appointment by rangers and has damaged both parties 1 1
