When / if all this finishes the new ownership must conduct an immediate investigation into all these injuries we get. Pound for pound we must get more injuries than any other club. Probably due to the lack of facilities at the training ground!

Lack of basic facilities,

lack of preseason match practice,

lack of preseason fitness work,

lack of playing squad,

take your pick and I suspect there many more!

Ernie weaver is set to have surgery and could be out for months, per Andy Giddmesiter’s X account

Real shame for the lad, he has been great for us.

Spot on. How Chancer set this club up for this season is absolutely scandalous.

Why would he care about players getting injured - he was happy to let thousands of fans sit in a stand week after week with unaddressed safety concerns hanging over it.

The ‘man’ is an absolute weasel.

I can almost forgive the lack of football knowledge, the funds drying up, the occasional rant…. But the total derogation of any responsibility to his staff and the fans, the absence of any communication and the disregard shown toward the reputation of the 150-year old institution of which he is a custodian… it’s pathetic.

He’s as gutless as he is clueless.

Been to see a specialist and likely out until April. Awful for the lad.
