Costello 77 Posted Tuesday at 16:28 Posted Tuesday at 16:28 Bloody Hell...he's put himself on the line tho. There's a reason why Championship clubs have large squads..it's brutal. 1
MBMitchell Posted Tuesday at 16:29 Posted Tuesday at 16:29 Terrible shame and hope he recovers soon Been brilliant for us, and wish him a quick recovery... After Jan 31st though 1
meggoisgod Posted Tuesday at 16:30 Posted Tuesday at 16:30 I don't believe this, him and Charles wrapped up in cotton wool for jan transfer window 1
Barnsleyowl1996 Posted Tuesday at 16:40 Posted Tuesday at 16:40 Real shame and disappointing- really been a bright spark in shocking circumstances. Hope he recovers well and soon and plays many more games - looked really promising. A back 3 has given us a little more steel ‘ (Saturday aside of course ) we’re probably going to have to go with palmer iorfa and lowe - really not confident with otegbayo . Valery and amass as the wing backs . Look to bring Thornton into a 3 man midfield or shipston maybe . Anyway really not of it matters but this is the best we can offer

His emergence been one of the few bright spots in a very dark time for Wednesday. Hope he gets back playing again soon. Middle of February will do nicely so Chumpsiri (if he's still here - hopefully not) can't sell him. Same applies to Charles.
fatzooma Posted Tuesday at 16:45 Posted Tuesday at 16:45 And so begin the injuries, heavy defeats…lowest of the low moral… TOTAL BOYCOTT 8
Popular Post sheffield_dave Posted Tuesday at 16:50 Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 16:50 Things are going to get ugly on the pitch over the winter. The club haven’t prepared any of these lads properly for a full season of football. There’s a reason every other club in the world has 6-7 weeks of intense pre-season training with a programme of friendly matches to make sure they’re ready, and we gave this group none of that. Staking an entire season and the clubs entire future on just winging it, and no surprise tha by October it already looks like unravelling. 2 9
McRightSide Posted Tuesday at 16:56 Posted Tuesday at 16:56 Had injury problems before hasn’t he? I don’t know that this is exclusively because he’s now playing men’s football 1
Freshfish Posted Tuesday at 17:03 Posted Tuesday at 17:03 This might be a contentious thing to say but surely at some point there has to be a decision made by the manager to speak openly about being unable to continue with the squad we have without putting at risk the playing futures of younger squad members. How DR managed the squads fitness was exemplary. HP doesn't have the squad to follow his example. Wr all know who is to blame but surely HP can flag up the difficulties to the PFA and the EFL. 1
morganowl Posted Tuesday at 17:05 Posted Tuesday at 17:05 you cannot just throw a load of u18s in there physically not ready . they need 30 mins here and there to start with . loads of our u18s have have quite serious injuries this season . the useless efl should be taking note of this as its abuse . chansiri plan is to have all his players u19 pay peanuts and just open the south stand next season . all the senior players will hand there notice in or contracts will run out next summer 4
Ronaldo1972 Posted Tuesday at 17:14 Posted Tuesday at 17:14 I've always believed that if a player is good enough then he's old enough. However, I agree that many of these youngsters are "having" to play due to our threadbare squad and we all know it's very tough outside the PL. Such a shame about Ernie, as he really looks the part. Can only wish him a speedy recovery 1
prowl Posted Tuesday at 17:22 Posted Tuesday at 17:22 I really like the lad. Very good prospect. It could be a blessing in disguise if it means DC can't sell him in the January window. Come back stronger and wait until February before you do so. 3
North East Owl Posted Tuesday at 17:27 Posted Tuesday at 17:27 34 minutes ago, fatzooma said: And so begin the injuries, heavy defeats…lowest of the low moral… I've been saying this for weeks. Peds and the team have been doing surprisingly well but I couldn't last. Once the injuries and suspensions begin to affect the tiny squad's ability to compete and more results like Saturday's sap the player's morale, there is only one outcome. It should make the die hard season ticket holders think twice about renewing though. 5
royalowlisback Posted Tuesday at 17:33 Posted Tuesday at 17:33 Well I suppose at some point we have to get some bad news. 4
Pressman 1 Posted Tuesday at 17:36 Posted Tuesday at 17:36 It’s fine Otegbayo is more than capable at covering 6
