My understanding is that some staff don't want to involve the Union in matters just yet. I think for all Chansiri's faults - and not paying them their full wages is obviously the biggest - he's done a lot of good things for the staff team to improve working conditions. People remember this, but the lack of communication and repeat offending is chipping away at his banked respect.

Is improved working conditions really enough to negate month after month or missed wages? I’d be sick to the back teeth of it, no matter what ‘improvements’ he’s supposedly made 

I like that they felt confident enough to join UNITE, safe in the knowledge that they won't have to worry about it ending up UNITED because a D (taxis) will never turn up.

Can't benefit from collective bargaining if the person you are trying to bargain with is hiding in another country trying to pretend he never owned a football club in the first place....

guess your a unite member then . gmb all the way for me . i dont fund the nutter apart from nearly everyone else what got season tickets last xmas. 

as for the staff there treated disgustingly . cant pay them yet can pay a private security firm 20 grand plus for 200 extra stewards

Unions are one of the main reasons that those rights exist.
