He defo played up front in second half but don't think he scored. He came very close to an equaliser but Johnny Fantham had to follow up  and score. I remember it was an entertaining game because the result didn't matter.

Ron played up front in Derek Wilkinson's testimonial and scored 4 goals ......whitham ,Ritchie and Eustace scored the goals in Ron's match .

As you say his brother was a tough act to follow. With fairness Peter wasn't a bad keeper he represented England at Youth level but he never got a full cap for his country

My older brother worked with Peter when he became a police officer. Reckons that he was both a great bloke and brilliant at his job.
