Elvin Parsnip Posted Tuesday at 16:23 Posted Tuesday at 16:23 Simon Jordan said today the IFR are lucky to have him but he thought the budget this guy has to work with will be nowhere near enough to take on club owners and he thinks it will be a waste of time or words to that effect

Elvin Parsnip Posted Tuesday at 16:46 Posted Tuesday at 16:46 Put this on another thread but Jordan talks about meeting Kogan and talks about IFR about 2hrs 53 in. Interesting he says he " met him for certain reasons " Textor related maybe ?

That’s all it is along with conjecture. It is however fact that we now have a Football Governance Act and an Independent Football Regulator. Oh, and that unfit and improper owners have demonstrably done tremendous damage to several football clubs under the regulatory system that we’ve had up to now, on the watch of the EFL, EPL and FA. No point in joining in the conjecture, or in questing the politics of Kogan’s appointment (btw it had to be ratified by the public appointments committee - a level of scrutiny beyond any individual political party). All that’s very interesting but immaterial. The only test that matters is in the actions the IFR duly takes in cases like ours, once up and running. Let’s see how it all pans out. 2

Agree and personally I think the IFR will rid us of Chansiri especially as I would imagine he will be their first case so will pull out all the stops to make sure they are successful. 2

You talk a lot of sense and seem to know your topic and I respect your knowledge. However, I think on this subject, I’d drop digging if I were you. 1
Colinwestzicoest Posted Tuesday at 17:44 Posted Tuesday at 17:44 End of day it's another public sector debt created job.....let's see.

I’m sure that Mr Kagan is a splendid chap, but the thing is there are lots of splendid chaps out there, but the ones that get nominated for these types of post always seem to be the ones that just so happen to be the splendid chaps that donate funds to political parties. If gently pointing that out is controversial, then so be it. 1 1

JeffOwl Posted Tuesday at 21:54 Posted Tuesday at 21:54 £2,500 a week. Not huge in football terms. We've got players on the bench earning more than that. Although I bet he'll get paid on time every month!
Jaytee Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I would be happy if he earned £130000 a day as long as he gets rid of the despot!
