i dont think ugbo would do much in the national league , mcneil even though i watch every game i dont know what he looks like so he cant be doing a great deal. fusire was at league 2 carlise and ended up relegated to national league . if scum still owns us next summer we will finish bottom of league 1 with hardly any points and another points deduction.

I agree. How could it be any different if he is still here next season in L1. More senior players will be sold, let go or may walk away after not being paid. The club can't sign any replacements other than freebies nobody else wants or even offer new contracts to the accadamy lads, resulting in Wednesday fielding a team of U19/21s who will get mullered every other week destroying their confidence and maybe even wrecking their careers almost before they get started.

L2 will be just as bad after that because more embargos will follow, they always do with Chansiri in charge.

If ever there was an opportunity to step up …and take the opportunity..now is the time

However Fusire,McNeil and Ugbo just aren’t doing this

Had high hopes for all 3 …However they will come in useful next Season in League One.🙈

What actually gave you this hope ??

Fusire tries hard but he’s not up to the level and will very likely never be. Especially not as a cm player.

McNeil scored a lot of goals at youth level but doesn’t have the attributes to be a loan striker, still might happen for him but he’s not shown anything to really suggest it will at this level.

Ugbo… well we all know the answer to this. His only goal was in the league cup first round last season and it is highly likely he’ll have the same outcome this.

Feels harsh, this thread.

Fusire in any other season would be out on loan. I think he's done OK, personally.

McNeil is an odd one. He's looked OK in some games and not great in others. Decision making is an issue. Again, would probably be out on loan if things were different.

Ugbo is an odd one. It just hasn't worked out. Still feel he needs a run of starts. The loss of a lot of our wide players and best crossers from the last 18 months doesn't help.

All in all though, we're just not a good enough side. It feels harsh to lay too much blame at any of the players.

McNeil showed glimpses start of last season, I just hasn't kicked on. This season was a good opportunity to make his mark, plenty of game time opportunity and limited competition. He's looked poor whenvever I have seen him at Hillsborough, poor in possession and offers v little if I am honest.

The lad Brown is the one who has caught the eye, I would even argue he will be better than Cadz.

From what I’ve seen of him I’d argue that he already is mate. Cadz seems to do a lot of running but not much else at the moment

All 3 have had their chances.  I watched the Harrogate and Crewe match last night and I dont think any of them would have got in either side.

Sadly only been watching matches on tv this season but Brown does look to have a bit of something extra about him for his age.

I think 'what happened to Ugbo?' Might go down in Wednesday history as an unanswered mystery. Bit like watching Jeffers and thinking this guy has an England cap?

Ditto Jay Bothroyd.

Brown's definitely adjusted to this level better than Cadz, but I'm not getting carried with him because as this post shows, most of our young lads show promise then quickly fade.

Most of the lads would be on loan lower down the pyramid if the club wasn't a complete disaster at the moment.

Some have stepped up brilliantly.

I understand what the OP meant though I was interested to see how McNeil, Kobacki and Ugbo would do this season with a run of games and none of them have managed to hold down a regular start.

Still time and this season really is a free hit. Chris Powell's comment that lower attendances will remove pressure and help was interesting as I had never thought of that.

I just hope the club is sold and the better ones stay and enjoy long careers here but I have to say I have been very proud of the players and manager so far this season.
