latemodelchild Posted Monday at 14:49 Posted Monday at 14:49 Noticed on Saturday that prior to kick off there were no people out there in suits etc like there normally is. 2 Wednesday mascots and a Coventry lad only. I wonder if there were no sponsors for the game? If so, that's another income stream gone. Bloke near us reckoned there's only been uptake of it for the pigs game and 1 other coming up. 2
Maidstone Owl Posted Monday at 15:07 Posted Monday at 15:07 The fixture against bitter owd Ham Face and his washed up £60k/week journeymen, couldn't have arrived at a worse time. Despot will be desperate/rubbing his dirty mitts with glee for the £500,000-600,000 that one is going to generate, from ticket sales and kiosk queues. At least the Great Unwashed/urine throwers won't have more than 3,800 tickets. however, that +£0.5mill windfall could see him hold out until the Dec. early birds (although a horrible rumour is going around re: an October Early Bird offer). 1 DEFUND CHANSIRI
BIG D Posted Monday at 15:09 Posted Monday at 15:09 Not bothered if he brings the EB forward tbh because it’s going to be a crushing disappointment for him. Even if he makes it that far after that he’s well and truly f*cked 2

Owls_fan_since_1983 Posted Monday at 16:58 Posted Monday at 16:58 I would not sponsor a SWFC Match, even if I get told I will get a 3 course meal of my choice, programme, free £20 bet and dental implants in return 2

I’m really not sure £500k is going to make much difference, he’s in way too deep now. 1

Daz Posted Monday at 18:09 Posted Monday at 18:09 If he can stumble through to January, he will raise enough from sales to see out this season. It is vital that a resounding message is sent to him that nobody will buy season tickets while he remains involved in any way. Anyone buying a season ticket is on his side and enabling him. I'm encouraged that the penny seems to be dropping, but of every action we can do, that would be the biggest and most effective by a country mile. He cannot start off in League 1 with no fans and no tickets sold. We have to make sure we don't blink first. 1 6

Regardless of their current form, unfortunately, we have never been so vulnerable and low for them to come and try do us over. I hope that’s just a personal fear… I trust our young owls to battle anything thrown at them right now.
