Jamal sadly has never really lived up to his success at Swansea playing left up front...... maybe he just doesn't fit into our "system"? So Blackburn had the SAS...we've got a B+B...we certainly fallen 1

1952Owl Posted Saturday at 21:04 Posted Saturday at 21:04 Brando17 Currently HP is playing a.... 3-5-2 Jamals best performances in the past were wide left. He is not a centre forward part of a duo. He doesn't look as fit as he was at Swansea too. "Currently" with very limited player resources.... Bailey + Brown best 2 centre forward players.
disgruntled Posted Saturday at 21:35 Posted Saturday at 21:35 Brown has got to be the no 1 striker. Mobile physical and gets in to dangerous positions. Yes he should have scored from the header but he did mange to get i n to the position. Will only get better . 1 1

Ian Posted Sunday at 08:17 Posted Sunday at 08:17 His first touch is exceptional…..he doesn’t kill it dead under his feet, his first touch makes sure the ball is where he wants it for his next touch and he’s also got a very good technique of manoeuvring his body whilst applying that touch. You’d think this would be a given for a professional footballers but it’s not, many kill the ball dead (many don’t) and then have to turn and get the ball from under their feet. And at the risk of sending @Thurcroft owl 72 in to a tailspin, he’s got a little bit of Cantana about him, the way he holds himself - and to clarify….a little bit, not more than!! 1

Lowe has always been a winger, really. He'd be best in a front three out wide. Brown looks a real player. Physical, great first touch, nice passes, always busy. Bailey could definitely do with a goal. He's been really industrious and doing a bit of everything. Looked tired yesterday and I was surprised he wasn't subbed at half time. 1 1
Barnsleyowl1996 Posted Sunday at 08:33 Posted Sunday at 08:33 Really like brown - straight away when he came on he shows the signs you’d want , comes to the ball- clever , sharp. Should have scored at the end but not a massive issue Probably him and ubgo / bailey . Lowe isn’t a striker and huffs and puffs - very rarely does anything coming off for him bailey is a real trier but isn’t very composed - doesn’t seem to have much intelligence to his game . May sound harsh but not seeing top striker elements from him just yet . 1 3

There were a couple of times when the ball came towards him and he just couldn't sort his feet out. In an ideal scenario, I think another loan spell would do him some good. 1 1 1

I'll allow you your little bit of Cantona mate. I think there's more than a bit of lee Gregory. Not as sexy I know but I do really like what I've seen.

It's a pity that we can't find a way to play two up top as Brown and Cadamarteri would make a good pairing. Cadamarteri has been absolutely appalling in the last three games. Brown looks so far ahead of him it’s untrue. Brown has to be rotated with Cadz until he finds some form with either Jamal or Ugbo just behind. It’s crap but it’s all we have.
