General_Grievous Posted Saturday at 15:50 Posted Saturday at 15:50 Loads of people buying in the South again today
Kopparberg Posted Saturday at 16:00 Posted Saturday at 16:00 I can’t comprehend it other than the routine of always buying a drink for the last forty’ year - or however long they have - and they can’t challenge their own thinking to not do it 2

onslow Posted Saturday at 16:09 Posted Saturday at 16:09 Nobody there to tell them not to We’re all busy boycotting at home
Pete Zarhutt Posted Saturday at 16:10 Posted Saturday at 16:10 (edited) I wonder if it was to do with the kick-off time? For those who have to travel some distance it might be a question of do I have an early lunch before the game or wait till after when it's gone two o clock. Certainly the kiosks were busier than last week. It's a pity you can't ignore your rumbling gut if you don't take the early option, but hey-ho. Edited Saturday at 16:11 by Pete Zarhutt

I think yes and no… some football fans are just really placid people and politely go to the game to clap a goal and go home… now these people still make up ‘Wednesday’ and always have, which in the past has been an absolute credit to the club, them coming along and buying a bovril — the downside/flipside is now that we want the opposite to happen and those same polite/placid people come across as wimps etc In a way you can’t (and wouldn’t) have 100% of a fanbase that are all the same (this is from me, a never paying DC a penny ever again person) 1 4

mattowl1867 Posted Saturday at 16:29 Posted Saturday at 16:29 Unfortunately some people will think ‘am supporting ahhhh community n’ahhh club buying in ‘ere instead of out thee’yer’ Some will be oblivious (or ignorant) Some will be unable to help themselves ‘av adda Pukka pie for years me not stopping nah’ 2
