Daveyboy66 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Someone's posted on another post in the Boardroom section that if there is an inquest into the club by the IFL the club is taken off DC and he has to fight to get it back...just how much money do we think he'll spend to do that ??

Musn't Grumble Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I hope I am wrong but I reckon that the IFR will be able to do very little in what will be a test case. Every verse and chapter will be blocked by legal road blocks. As Simon Jordan said on TS a few weeks ago, DC may well argue that in what other industry are owners expected to comply with a regulator in this form? It either needs a move towards administration where what's left can be sold by the insolvency practioner / administrator (is he trading insolvently or recklessly?) or for the EFL or FA to boot us out of the Championship which will reduce the value of the club to practically zero since there will be no more matches to play. I can't see any positive scenario in the short term, however. Dejphon will only be DejGone when he has run out of assets to strip. 2
Maidstone Owl Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Daftson still has £9-10m worth of shares in the Thai Union Group. DEFUND CHANSIRI
Beauchief Owl Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago What's happened re the 7.4 million owed re the stadium on the 30th of September.? I thought the Cancer had to repay a large chunk of the loan. Has he done so considering he was reported as having 7 days grace to do so? I was hoping that this would cause him serious trouble as the loan was not likely to be rolled over yet again.

DC can challenge anything the IFR throws at him but all legal road blocks will cost him a fortune. DC can argue all he likes but there are several industries where owners have to demonstrate that they are fit and proper. And to empathise fit and proper criteria the regulator will just point out the six embargoes that DC has outstanding for Wednesday and the fact that he has failed to engage with the EFL by providing the information requested.

Eventually will he lose, we hope, but it’s gonna be a long drawn out process. He certainly doesn’t seem worried about the IFR. And there was me thinking the club isn't leaking testicles information ATM. Did you honestly expect to read that Channers knows he is screwed and the IFR is going to take the club off him?

We are a test case, there will be bumps in the road, back and forth, legal challenges, it will all get tied up in red tape and what not. The more DC spends on legal fees is good but it won’t stop him dragging it out. It’s stated on the trust website the IFR can’t just boot him out. It will be a long process.
SiJ Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Did anyone honestly think they'd just be able to come in and take it off him? 2

It wasn’t a 7 days grace for Chansiri to pay the owed money. The lender had 7 days to trigger action to take ownership of the stadium That deadline for them is tomorrow. so we will likely learn on companies house tomorrow or Friday what’s happened there

Let’s hope he runs his legal case as competently as he runs his football club He might end up with a life sentence for contempt 1

Not in the near future...imho. "The last thing what we want to do is start getting involved with an individual club, an individual owner, without being able to work with that owner to try and resolve the issues that the club's facing and the owner's facing," Kogan said.
