johnwardell Posted Saturday at 06:54 Posted Saturday at 06:54 I'm a long time member of the site, regular reader but rare poster and wanted to share this as a fellow Owl I know could do with our help. I work with Jack Turner, he's 28 and a teacher in Doncaster. Regularly at Hillsborough, and up until recently, a fit healthy bloke like most of us on here. In the space of 3 months that has all changed and he's fighting a complex cancer where doctors are fighting to diagnose it so they can treat it. Jack, his partner Nat and his family are raising funds to explore alternative treatments and specialist care that may not be available through the usual routes. These could give Jack the answers, the hope, and the chance he so desperately deserves. If you're not going to the game today because of the boycott then please consider sending your money to a cause far more important and that will do a lot of good. With all what's going at the moment at the club, this puts things in perspective: https://www.gofundme.com/f/jack-turner-find-alternative-cancer-treatments?utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_content=amp13_c&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&lang=en_GB&attribution_id=sl%3Ae3ac863a-b1aa-46ec-ba30-a3533414f362&ts=1759560464 Thanks John 6
