legendaryswan Posted Saturday at 07:26 Posted Saturday at 07:26 Saw him in the Bolton game and he really stood out and he was equally impressive in the other cup ties and quite rightly got a berth in the matchday squad and hes slotted in really well. Hes still learning but he looks confident and mature enough to progress, fantastic attitude, hopefully....he doesnt slip through our fingers due to all the thats going on right now, A great shame young Sequirra? got injured because I thought he was equally impressive as well.
clud17 Posted Saturday at 07:33 Posted Saturday at 07:33 One of the shining lights amongst all this misery. Well played Ernie. 1
JohnnyQuinnsQuiff Posted Saturday at 07:36 Posted Saturday at 07:36 He’s done really well when he’s been selected. But he’s still a young lad learning his trade. So it’s important that when he makes an error (which he will do), fans don’t forget this and start getting on his back. Well done Ernie. Keep it up. 1 1
East Yorks Owl Posted Saturday at 07:55 Posted Saturday at 07:55 I wonder what all our younger players are feeling about the current situation? It’s only a few years ago where the possibility of playing youngsters like Weaver and Brown in a league game would have been incredibly remote. I expect our U21s see this as a golden opportunity to shine. I’d like to think most of them are Wednesday fans, so why wouldn’t they be chomping at the bit. If there’s anything good to come out of the current madness it’s surely a reminder to have more faith in our homegrown talent.
TINGLE75 Posted Saturday at 08:09 Posted Saturday at 08:09 I said months ago that the one positive which might come out of this S£itshow, is the emergence of 2-3 younger players and Weaver and Brown have certainly stepped up!
Flat Owl Posted Saturday at 08:12 Posted Saturday at 08:12 Congratulations Ernie Weaver. Absolute wall.

Utah Owl Posted Saturday at 08:55 Posted Saturday at 08:55 If Chumpsiri is ousted (or at least neutered) before the JTW then I can see Weaver being a future captain for us. Fingers crossed. We have some great youngsters coming through so there may be light at the end of the tunnel. 1
Jeffjohnsonmyhero Posted Saturday at 09:05 Posted Saturday at 09:05 Another Bobby Moore will play for England ,I Just hope its with Wednesday .
SwellOwl Posted Saturday at 09:17 Posted Saturday at 09:17 Through all the nonsense, this lad has been a ray of light.
andrew1974 Posted Saturday at 09:36 Posted Saturday at 09:36 Ernie Weaver. Or as he’s known in the boardroom ‘Januarys Wage Bill Sorted’ 4
