Shirt Sleeves - What was going on in this era ?

And the combination with such tight shorts makes it even funnier

This is a popular retro shirt on DHGate, have they successfully replicated the sleeve ludicrousness?

Did they not measure the typical length of arms before making these shirts 

I always think of Andy Pearce when I see that kit. Weird times.

I think at the time short sleeved sweatshirts were the fashion (tucked into stonewash jeans)

The club sold one that was very smart (to 15 year old me) it was navy blue and cream stripes with a stylised, neon yellow 'Owls' scribbled across the front.

Those fashions translated to shirts I think with blousey sleeves. It was Spurs I think that had them long shorts and Ryan Giggs always looked like an U14 player wearing first team kit.

That said, Sinton was a funny looking player, kind of squat and broad so could probably have benefited from having shirt size down

Yeah 

I’ve got a 93 shirt and the arms a massive. I’m getting my mum to take them in a bit before I wear it in public 

Let’s be honest 90’s fashion was horrendous and the fact that it’s now back in is ridiculous 

I remember wearing that shirt on holiday, when I was 15, and some fat old bloke shouting "why you wearing your Mums nightie"

The biggest tour of this year is by a 90's band in late middle age too!

Still wear that shirt ,an original ,when at games ,and when playing footy with my mates .Some of the plastic lettering  has fallen off but I still love it .
