Does anyone have numbers of sales so far. Seeing as there's a possible pitch invasion planned for this game, I sort of hope that a fair few tickets are purchased More people to take part in the pitch invasion and strength in numbers And for those idiots that still go to games without ST hopefully their day's ruined with a called off game Edited October 2 by Wednesdayitewastaken 1 2

There is no universe in which absolutely every single fan was ever going to get on board with one single protest action. The key thing is that the overwhelming majority are pulling the rope, be that voting with their feet, not a pound in the ground, buying scarves, etc. Some will still spend but you only need to see the empty seats, the closed kiosks, and mile long list of embargoes for unpaid bills to see the impact we are having. A few hundred people buying a pint and a pie isn’t going to change that impact. 1
HopefulOwl Posted October 3 Author Posted October 3 The thing is we are at a point now that there shouldn't need to be a protest for anyone to realise what he's doing. The media behind this is in full flow with daily updates on all platforms and discussions on most radio stations. If anyone isnt aware then they really do live on a different planet. 1 4

But only 14000 will be on home end and very few will have the urge , 75% don't even stand up on 10th min there quite happy with chancer. But I'd love to see platers were protest shirts and even hold the scarfs up , also throw tennis balls on just do something to stop the game and draw more attention to someone I'd like to lock up .
TodwickOwl Posted October 3 Posted October 3 There’s enough making a statement now with the protests But if you’re still paying £50 and have the spare change to give it to DC - then you must be a full weight c*** there’s no other explanation 1 3

Surely the moral and right thing would be to do this if we are going to be so opinionated on the pay on dayers. Don’t forget these are people that probably couldn’t afford the over priced STs! But if we are honest, ST holders won’t be doing this, but we’ll sacrifice the HT beers instead.

Not even tried, the club won’t give any refunds I bet I’ve not been last two home games as a ST holder, I am going tomorrow however

When we see 16k more empty seats rather than soft gestures with the kiosks then the protests will be taken more seriously. All that’s been achieved so far is lots of young uns losing their Saturday jobs.

matthefish2002 Posted October 3 Posted October 3 I think 99% of what the Trust has done has been excellent. But as a fan base I think the protests have been slightly half hearted. If you could have told me 5 years ago what was going to happen I would have predicted a lot more anger and toxic atmosphere at games. The atmosphere is more apathetic than angry. 3
