1952Owl Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Millwall 0 Coventry 4 Coventry brought on 5 subs. A daunting challenge for us. Thoughts about the Game. Our thin squad are giving all. WAWAW. No Chansiri comments for this please. 1

1952Owl Posted October 1 Author Posted October 1 Who will be the fittest after 3 games in 7 days? Weather predicted to be challenging. We are unbeaten in 3 games. Players giving all despite the crap they are facing bless them. On paper a cert away win... but you never know?
Albertowl Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Coventry will win the league comfortably this season. Another gutsy performance and hopefully avoiding a spanking will do for me.
SiJ Posted October 1 Posted October 1 They've scored 22 goals already (8 more than the next team). We might be at home, but the onus is completely on them really. Perhaps a day's extra rest might help us a little, but then we are so limited in terms of what we can change. 1
Southie_Owl Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Remember that time we lost 2-6 at home to Keegan’s Man City? Could be a similar tale on Saturday 1
New Zealand Owls Posted October 1 Posted October 1 A single goal defeat would be fine wouldn't it? Then two weeks of 40,000 fans trying to be accounting and property experts 1
Orlando_Trustful Posted October 2 Posted October 2 They could absolutely tonk us. I think we'll be 3 or 4 down by HT.

HopefulOwl Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Thing is with this one we are almost certain to be beat, its a question of by how much and what physical impact is that going to have. Do we rest everyone we can and play the young ens that were playing in the cup or stick with the same line up knowing we have a bit of a break. Personally i'd accept defeat and give additional rest to the first team and chuck in the kids.... then convince them to walk off as soon as ref blows his whistle. 1
gtownowl Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Rudoni has turned into one of the best players in the division. Hopefully he's still out injured on Saturday
Deluded Owl Posted October 2 Posted October 2 We’ve been tipped to lose 4 or 5 every game and haven’t yet. I think we’re steadily improving with every game but we’re hindered by the lack of options in terms of players who can get us up the pitch quickly and keep us up there. Hence the amount of clearances and blocks that the defence are making because the ball keeps coming back at us all the time. This is the issue Pedersen has to find a solution to but because of the situation he has to more than likely find the solution within the club. Saturday’s game will be similar to the Leeds cup tie but if I was Pedersen I’d have Cadamarteri on the toes of Kitchen all the time. He’s the weak link in their side. 1
