Jaytee Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Would be really good if the players let the Sky cameras turn up on Saturday and then go on strike and refuse to play due to non payment of wages. Major embarrassment for chumpster. Im sure all the fans would be fully behind any such action. 1 1
Lythamowl Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Would work even better if we were playing Coventry too……. 1 1
McRightSide Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I wouldn’t But a black and gold scarf or armband would look great 1

GMOwl72 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 The game is a significant opportunity for everyone to boycott the game. It’s on TV so everyone can still watch it. An empty stadium other than travelling Coventry fans would be a fantastic two fingers up to Chansiri and would ensure lots of ongoing debate in the media. 2

The idea is great but the reality is that it won’t happen. Needs more time to arrange. The numbers turning up to the protest also concerns me about how effective a full boycott would be. So, we should be easily beating a team 19 places above us in 3rd, currently undefeated , top scorers in league thus far, who finished 5th last season and only went out of play-offs after et by losing to team who went up!!, and if we don't we're officially doomed!?

Barnsleyowl1996 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Tbh I don’t see them doing anything other than turning up and playing . Fair comment it’s what they’ll have been advised to do .

matthefish2002 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Think a good idea is the SWFC players delay the game by 5mins, kick off at 12.35pm and not 12.30pm as a protest. Still would get publicity and people talking but not upset people too much who have arranged to travel to the game. Also wont get a points deduction or a fine. 1
