Might be that one - I think he crossed it to (the legend that is) Nuhiu who headed in.

Especially after Bannans injury. He certainly did. A talented winger who could run all day and had a devastating shot on him. In his early days he was a good player for us, who got pelters from the usual suspects, who like to pull a player down. Towards the end he had lost it, he was jaded, disillusioned and sick of the club. It showed. Never one who liked a tackle but it's not unusual in wingers. He's not really pulled up trees since he left, as far as I can see, but I haven't followed his career closely.
Gazzaowl1069 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Very able player. I think he properly neshed a tackle in a game where we were doing really badly and that was it, he was labelled by some fans as lacking commitment. Scored some mega goals did the lad.

To be fair, Palmer does similar most matches … did it again yesterday

Some foolishly tried to compare him to Sam Hutchinson, which I always thought was a bit strange. If we wanted a hot headed rough tackling often injured defender, then Adam Reach was not your man. If you wanted a left winger who could pick out a player making a run into the box, score a few goals, take free kicks and also do a decent job in several other positions on the pitch, then Reach was definitely your man. Its such a shame that our bad owner had spent all our money when Reach was here. If the rest of the team had been anything like as good as Reach, we would have breezed promotion instead of struggling to survive. 1 2

Lincs Owl Posted September 28 Posted September 28 When we're in league one next season and getting stuffed by the likes of Burton Albion and Port Vale, we'll all be reminiscing about how great the likes of Adam Reach and Beswetherick were. And as for Windass being only half as good as he thinks he is.... Ahhhh Those were the days.
sexpistol Posted September 28 Posted September 28 In his lay season which some people slate him for he still scored something like 5’goals with several assists.
myHero Posted September 28 Posted September 28 https://www.weareimps.com/news/reach-pleased-rewrite-history-peterborough-win He's described by Lincoln as a defender... How times have changed. Reach was better going forward than defending at Wednesday, unfortunately in a team under Jos ans Monk which did very little going forward. Things didn't work out as they should have for Reach at Wednesday, just like things didn't work out as they should for many others associated with Wednesday over the past 10 years.
HandsworthOwl Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Never got the hate on Adam Reach, was a quality addition, was worth the transfer fee in goals and assists, great engine aswell. 2 2
Steve Down South Posted September 28 Posted September 28 One of the better players I’ve seen turn out for Wednesday in recent years. Maybe that’s not saying much, but I liked him. Never agreed with the stick he got, in much the same way as I never believed Hutchinson was quite as good as some liked to claim. Both decent players for us in different ways. 1
big_al1985 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Absolutely utter gash, a total coward who scored a few worldies so everyone thinks is OK. He played well for us for about 6 weeks when we were in the mire, other than that he was a joke. Classic chansiri signing. 3 1

There was a period under Jos were he single handily carried us. Adam Reach was never a crunching LWB that some thought he was or was expected to be. Very unfair for people to think that’s what he was, technically he was a very good player. 1 2
