andrew1974 Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Said he should be in the team no matter what for the rest of the season. If managed right he’s a future captain, Wasn’t afraid to give Dom an absolute rocket at one point 4

whatdial Posted September 27 Posted September 27 He’s a proper leader at the back. Organising, shouting just what we need 2
OwususFirstTouch Posted September 27 Posted September 27 If this whole situation has one positive it's the fact we're getting to see some of these young lads develop, a couple of them really don't look out of place at this level. 1 1
S72 Owl Posted September 27 Posted September 27 If he carries on performing like this he’ll be gone in January. Chansiri will be desperate for funds by then to try and get him to the end of the season.
Musn't Grumble Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Looked like Beckenbauer today. Bossing their front line and commanding the defence. Still needs polishing but think what he'll be like in a season or two. 1
elated owl Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Saw him outside the ground today and he won’t be going anywhere. Wednesday til he dies. 5
1952Owl Posted September 27 Posted September 27 (edited) Hope Weaver can start at Brum? The "thought" of Otegbayo re-appearing scares me big time sorry. Weaver is a young, breath of fresh air who us so much better than Otegbayo. Sorry. Edited September 27 by 1952Owl 1 1
thebizzle Posted September 27 Posted September 27 And our academy “isn’t fit for purpose” George Hirst, Ernie Weaver, Pierce Charles, Bailey Cadamateri, Caelan Cadamateri, Sutura Kakay, George Brown, Joe Wildsmith. Even Liam Palmer one of our all time record appearance holders 3 1 1 1
bigash_swfc Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Best we can hope for in January, 500k from West Brom and they loan him back to us.

Even Liam Palmer one of our all time record appearance holders I still think it’s a pretty poor success rate compared to others, especially them over the road. The jury is still out on some of those you’ve named. In the past 15 years how many of our academy graduates have gone on to play consistently at a higher level than Wednesday? George Hirst the only one I can think of. 1 6

Great to see, an old head on young shoulders 1
