Popular Post Sultan_Pepper Posted September 22 Popular Post Posted September 22 I wasn't going to make a graph this season because we were looking like we'd just go down anyway but we've got some points and some posters asked me to make one in another thread so here we are. I've decided to do a comparison with the Xisco and Röhl season because that's what we're aiming for in all probability For those that haven't seen these graphs before the table is just me putting numbers in and comparing positions with a previous seasons' positions and points. The graph has 3 lines plotted on it. Green, yellow and white. These are a pretty close guess at the average points required for automatic, play offs and survival. The orange bars down the bottom are the points we had at each game week in the comparison season. The blue bars are the points we have this season. To stay up we want the blue bars above the white line. We're short now but it's something to aim for at least. More blue bars will appear as the season goes on and we can all fear the worst and hope for the best as we go. 3 15
aussieowl87 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Depressing and impressive at the same time. Thank you. 1 4
Willie Henderson Posted September 22 Posted September 22 I do like these graphs, thanks. Can't beat a bit a distraction from the current seemingly endless misery. 1 1
punkskaphil Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Disappointed this thread isn't about legendary German tennis players.
True Owl Posted September 22 Posted September 22 It goes hand in hand with these graphs, but I've always said that the teams with the worst negative goal difference are nearly always the ones that end up in the bottom three. Equally those with the best postive goal difference get promoted. You start reducing your negative goal difference and lifting above the otheres, your blue bars will go up !
onslow Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Great stuff Can we have a trend line for the previous relegation or is it too close to the white line

Sultan_Pepper Posted September 29 Author Posted September 29 Ten minutes of them having been shouted at at half time and us not quite matching them cost us a couple of points I think but an otherwise excellent performance. In a world with no points deductions and us having some players for the second half of the season we could do with a couple of wins soon to keep us well ahead of "miracle required" territory like we were under Röhl going into December 1
Sultan_Pepper Posted October 1 Author Posted October 1 Slight progress compared to Xisco but oh what could have been. Would have been one point off the white line if the ref could tell the time. Still I'm sure we'll get 11 minutes of injury time when we're chasing a late goal some time in future
Sultan_Pepper Posted Monday at 07:35 Author Posted Monday at 07:35 Still 4 points ahead of the Xisco season but meh. Our tiny squad looked very tired. International break might help freshen things up
