England should win it with the right coach, unless we somehow end up with Graham Taylor.

I'd go with:

England: (4-4-2) - Seaman, Trippier, Adams, Campbell, Cole, Gerrard, Ince*, Gascoigne, Waddle, Rooney, Kane

(*Rice contender for this slot with a few more good years),

Scotland: (4-5-1) Goram, Hutton, McLeish, Weir, Robertson, Strachan, McAllister, McTominay, Fletcher, Collins, McCoist

Wales: (4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1): Southall, Roberts, A. Williams, Coleman, Davies, Speed, Ramsay, Allen, Giggs, Bale, Hughes

Too tired to pick NI or Republic for now!

(With the caveat that I think you must be a bit older than me as my first memories of football are Italia 90)

Unfair that Scotland get 2 keepers...

I would put Pickford in goal (that save against Colombia just before they equalised), Kane up top, Neville at full back

Which Cole did you pick, Ashley or Joe?

Ashley..............LWB in a 3-5-2.

What about combined teams? Scary to think how we could have done in the 70's if the core Scotland team was supplimented with a few from the rest of the home nations... On the same lines the core England teams from 1996 onwards if the likes of Giggs, Roy Keane, Robbie Keane, Irwin, Bale, Ramsay, Robertson, Given etc could be considered..
