Sacked after 2 months and 3 games (1 win 1 draw 1 loss) is absolutely ridiculous and proves how stupid football is today

You wanted Eustace out after about an hour into his first game

Same nonsense spouted about Selles and Russell Martin

After 3-4 games

It's absurd

Every managerial change has to allow for adjustment

It might not be pretty nor even sensibly functional in the immediacy of a new guy taking the reins but ffs give it at least some breathing space before casting judgement

I was adamant we should have stick with Warne because of our financial situation, I didn't like the idea of swapping managers at that time because we were on a big downward trajectory anyway and Warne in my opinion was the right man to lead us back up from L1. Turns out I was wrong and making the change kept us up , we've since made 14 signings under Eustace and have a totally different team this season. I wont be making those comments again lol

As for Ten Hag, they appointed him 2 months ago and then sold the whole team behind his back... he never stood a chance.

His balls have dropped?

Didn't miss him tonight anyway, smashed Valencia 6-0. Less than 6k fans there though, the Nou Nou Camp isn't ready yet so they played it at their training ground.  I was browsing the channels and the preview text said it was the first game at the reopened stadium - I thought it was a bit weird that they'd spent over a billion quid making it look like Doncaster.

How was it?

Firstly i nearly missed start, watching owls win and not realising kick off was an hour away. Got in literally as it kicked off.

Game lasted 2 mins then had to pause cause pyro smoke engulfed the pitch.

Football was a bit league 1, crowd was singing the whole game, no idea what like.

Every so often a bunch of flares got started up, and flashbangs.

Red Star went 1-0 up after 30.

added a second around hour mark.  Thats when they started to set fire to the seats in red end, was a little disconcerting as nobody gave a flying.

Partizan pulled one back with 15 to go and atmosphere was a bit crazy(er).  Dont think they deserved it but was a decent goal.

Overall its an intense event, literally nothing like it.  The effort they go to with the huge banners that all seems scheduled as different huge ones appear at random times.  I would not like to be behind either goal it just looks like one big moshpit.

Im gutted i missed the pre match, but it was Wednesdays fault for winning...lol   After the match i literally got the hell out of dodge and got onto the first bus.

An experience for sure, especially after they scored, anyone with PTSD probably shouldnt try it.

Looks almost as wild as our fans in the League Cup game vs Grimsby.

Glad you had a good time and stayed safe mate! It’s one of those European derbies I’ve always liked the idea of going to, just for the experience
