edinburghowl Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Martin leaving is a when not if. Terrible football, terrible recruitment, 14 games in and he still hasn’t won back to back games. The rumour in the press after their Hibs cup win was he had 4 games to save his job and he has already lost the first one. Tough game at the weekend on a horrible pitch against Livi too. As a side point it’s funny to see Aberdeen struggling too. They are long overdue a relegation so hopefully it finally happens. They dodged two relegations with rules changes previously. A club who have spent a fortune on players over the years whilst investing zero in their infrastructure when other clubs have invested and upgraded. And who now expect local tax payers to bail them out of their decrepit midden they call a stadium. Up there with the most deluded fan bases in Scotland, their stadium belongs in the Championship.

Anthndav Posted Sunday at 16:01 Posted Sunday at 16:01 1-1 Rangers at Falkirk. Surely, Martin's last game? 1

Skyline Posted Sunday at 17:27 Posted Sunday at 17:27 Not really going so swimmingly for Gassama is it? Set off like a train in the Euro Fixtures but not done much in the league. Not gloating, I wish him well and it's not his fault for his departure but I couldn't stand seeing the pigs post and gloat on SM every time he scored a goal. Mind you, they are very quiet at the moment.
owls89 Posted Sunday at 18:02 Posted Sunday at 18:02 Gassama may be better when the new coach comes in. Maybe they'll play more direct.
A Giroud Awakening Posted Sunday at 18:24 Posted Sunday at 18:24 "Angry Rangers fans tried to prevent the team bus leaving the Falkirk Stadium following the 1-1 draw on Sunday, with a large police presence required to allow players and staff to exit. Under-pressure head coach Russell Martin was escorted away from the ground in a separate car by police in a bid to keep him away from supporters, who have been calling for his removal for several weeks." Surely he's gone tomorrow if not tonight?
DCFCOwls Posted Sunday at 18:38 Posted Sunday at 18:38 Gotta go after that They'll riot next , Rangers and Celtic supporters don't put up with what they believe to be a poor manager I'd beg the board to give me a years severance for my resignation if I was Martin
Liam_Baggies Posted Sunday at 19:42 Posted Sunday at 19:42 He’s gone tonight apparently. What a god awful, miserable experiment this has been 1
owls maniac Posted Sunday at 20:24 Author Posted Sunday at 20:24 Surely as an employer Rangers have a duty of care to their employee and that must mean sacking Martin tonight and putting the bloke out of his misery.
