Liam_Baggies Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Iheeanacho signs for Celtic too. Crikey - that blokes had a good summer. He's about 5 stone overweight
owls maniac Posted September 13 Author Posted September 13 He surely can’t survive that result. What a disastrous appointment that was entirely predictable. 1

Whilst I’m not expecting a title yet and this season I think that speaks volumes. Only 5 games in but on the pitch this season we are clear ahead in 1st on goals scored, chances created, shots on target, and touches in the opposition box. We have goals and pace throughout the squad. The off the pitch infrastructure is already in place, we are witnessing huge increases in club revenue, Rangers are a perennial mess, Tony Bloom’s involvement and investment and the use of his recruitment and analytics look like being a game changer. A long way to go but I think we should already be targeting 2nd this season. For the first time in my lifetime I am genuinely convinced a league title will happen in the future and hopefully before I snuff it too. Exciting times to be a Hearts fan for sure. 2 1
Anthndav Posted September 14 Posted September 14 That has got to be Martin done now surely. They are absolutely diabolical at the back and lack any leadership around the pitch. Their heads go to easy. It's going to be a long season for Gers fans. 1

Incredible really because Martin is massively out of his depth and clearly not capable of a job like Rangers. He has fallen out with their best player, his press conferences have been baffling, there are no signs of any improvement, and his recruitment has been terrible too. He has spent over €30m this preseason and only Aasgaard and Gassama look passable from what I’ve seen. And those two don’t look that great either to be honest. I can’t believe they’re going to potentially trust him with another transfer window. Worrying times for Rangers fans. McInnes like you say however has done great. 8 wins and 2 draws from his 10 competitive games so far. We’ve built a great squad and only spent 4 million this summer. That win yesterday came without our main summer signing too who was out injured.

I sympathise on some of the recruitment because that has been taken over by Thelwell who is under qualified for a role at the club. His whole approach seems to be who can we pluck from the English divisions because its only little old Scotland. It is a graveyard for footballers who sign from England. They cannot cope with the demands or expectations of either club. Thelwell has somehow managed to put together a defensive line which is totally reliant on loans. Clearly they wanted Tavernier gone but Aarons is so bad that Tavernier is now the saviour. And do not get me started on spending £10m on this striker with no track record. It almost feels like Thelwell had done Everton a PSR favour. There is nothing else to say on Martin other than he is the most egotistical, arrogant **** I have ever set my sights upon. He just does not understand this football club. I thought Beale was an arrogant tosspot but he's nothing on this slimeball. I think both Edinburgh clubs have been excellent tbh though Hibs seem to be on a drawthon. I had doubts whether McInnes was the man to push Hearts forward but I've been pleasantly surprised so far. I think the investment of Tony Bloom is a game changer and unless we seriously knuckle down and sort out our issues then we may end up being the third side in the Scotland and that seemed totally inconceivable a short while ago. I'd crawl over broken glass to have McInnes at Ibrox at the minute. 1
edinburghowl Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Rangers drop into the relegation playoff place with Dundee’s win at Dens. With bottom of the league Aberdeen having two league fixtures before Rangers play next in the league it is a distinct possibility Rangers could go bottom of the table 1 1
Lothian Owl Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Off topic. Being a Hearts and Sheffield Wednesday fan I would love our two great clubs to play in a pre season friendly? 2
Greenowl Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Wednesday and Celtic are my teams. By the way - eyup Liam. Your still on with your rangers obsession??? Long time matey……… 1
