Great bit on the Guardian football weekly about Man Utd.

Amorim has failed miserably in getting anything out of obviously talented players like Garnacho, Hojlund, Zirkzee and Anthony.  Sancho is a lost cause, but the others could have been 'reborn' under a new manager , and you just know they will go on and be successes elsewhere.

He's also wasting Kobi Mainoo, and if he was a decent coach surely he would be able to use such a talented player.

I can't help think getting someone like Michael Carrick or Kieran McKenna in would have been a better idea after ten Haag , and I think there is still a chance they could start turning things round there if Amorim goes.

I don't think Amorim is really focused on developing these players. He plays a system and if they don't fit, they struggle. Its just too dogmatic. You can't play this system with those players. Another coach could potentially get more from them. The players look lost and uncomfortable. They don't believe in it at all.

God knows why they haven't signed a defensive midfielder who can at least try and cover the huge gap in the middle of the pitch

It was so obvious to anyone with eyes that Amorim wasn't a good fit, he's a West Ham kinda manager, not Man Utd level.

Man Utd should have been looking at Frank or even Iraola who have managed in the Prem and are front foot managers

What happened in the Ipswich game yesterday?

16 minutes time added on?

Darren Deadman?

Massive amount of stoppage time in Millwall v Wrexham as well due to a bad injury to the Wrexham keeper.

From what I've just read there was a long injury stoppage, plus an epic amount of ludicrous pisstaking timewasting by Derby. No surprise with John Eustace as manager, I wish it was clamped down on more.

I love it when teams blow it in the time added on for their own time wasting, especially when the manager cries about it afterwards, so zero sympathy for Derby.

Thought he looked really promising when he broke through at Forest

But since then has flattered to deceive and frankly is overrated imo

I can tell you there is a MASSIVE divide behind the scenes between ‘The Portuguese’ and the rest of the staff

Señor Díaz is on his way down as a footballer - had a good 2 year spell but isn’t very good.

Wrexham chucking stupid money at players with 1 year left on their contract and or injury prone is a weird one.

Whatever happens this season I think Parkinson is gone before the next.

Randomly watching Huddersfield v Peterborough. Neither side looks very good, at the same time I couldn't see Wednesday beating either of them at the moment.

Funny miss from Huddersfield though, open goal with the keeper out of position, player could roll it in from a slight angle but tries to be clever by taking an extra touch, actually gets into a better position by doing so, then hits the post.
