SiJ Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Is it just me, or do more teams act like proper knobs these days? A goal goes in and it ends up in full scale brawl.

A mammoth step down from Delap. He’s just been charging around fouling people. (He’ll definitely go on to score now) Called it! I still think Hirst has looked a bit odd, like watching a boxer play in a charity football match. Just barrelling into people constantly. But as others said he didn’t get much service and maybe he was sort of trying too hard. Both those teams will be up there though.

sheffsteel Posted August 8 Posted August 8 (edited) Birmingham the better side, the penalty was quite lucky but by the letter of the law (the rules) it was definitely a penalty. Always amazed how virtually all fans, players and managers have self interest and totally biased. After the match the Birmingham manager sees the replay and says the penalty was very harsh and normally wouldn’t be given. He then argues that as it was so late in the game it shouldn’t have been given and then comments that the ball only just skimmed the defenders fingers….think he was trying to say if it hit his hand properly then it’s a pen but if it just skims someone’s hand then it shouldn’t be a penalty. Even with clear slow motion evidence showing it was a handball and the defender had his hand in an unnatural position the Birmingham still refuses to accept it was a penalty. SallyCinnamon Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Windass and Charles lining up against each other. Nope can’t stomach this

Perhaps one too many old heads, but the combination of Moore and Windass makes sense when you think how well the latter linked up with Smith. Coady playing in the middle of a back three too (his best position).
alanharper Posted August 9 Posted August 9 Commentator still going on about a head injury even after replays show it's clearly a football to the bòllocks.
