Interesting game.

Ekitike played well. Gakpo, Salah, MacAllister & Szobislai(sp) all impressive.

Wirtz was disappointing,  didn't really do anything.

For Bournemouth Semenyo was outstanding , as was the new RB from Rennes. I think they might struggle if they get a few injuries.

Bournemouth Left Back sorry,  Adriene Truffert.  Very good going forward, disciplined in defence , set up Semeyos first goal. Think they've got another top player to replace Kerkez there.

Liverpool will score millions this season. They'll also concede plenty though so their games will be a good watch.

They'll need Gravenberch to be fit most of the season.

That defence will need some protection. Konate was awful last night and I'm not entirely convinced that Frimpong is an upgrade on Trent from a defensive perspective.

Yes. They'll be hard in on Guehi this week you'd expect. Konate got dragged all over.

Also, Wirtz looked like he wasn't expecting the game to be so fast last night. He kept getting caught on the ball or rushing his pass. Bournemouth pressed very well, especially first half.

Watching Man City V Wolves.

Reijnders has impressed, Haaland has done Haaland things, Lewis good going forward.

However,  a team slightly better than Wolves would have scored a few against them today, they still have no defensive midfielder and there's been a bit of back pedalling and last gasp defending. I don't think they will keep many clean sheets this season.

4-0 Citeh with 10 minutes left, but Wolves are very poor defensively and will struggle this year.

Some of city's movement has been outrageous

Tentative start and with so many new players you can see they're not yet all on the same wavelength at the same time

They still look vulnerable defensively but way better than last season and tbh they have always been vulnerable defensively - it's never been their strength.

Rodri still to return and although it's only one game the signs are that they might be fighting at the very top again

Glad Sunderland won and hope they stay up.

They've made some signings which if they work out could see them be the next Brighton/Bournemouth/Brentford for me. Top quality youngsters from European competing clubs. What a difference a year makes when we finished a few points behind them.

Forest doubling Ipswich's money on Hutchinson in a year after 3 goals in 31 games proves the game is crackers.

They massively overachieved last year, will be difficult for them to repeat it.

Munetsi looked decent for Wolves yesterday although City were absolutely clinical with them
