Remember when we had too many attacking options,

That's what Liverpool are going to have to figure out on a greater scale with Wirtz, Salah, Ekitike, Isak, Gakpo etc...

Make it click and stick with it.

I had half an eye on the Arsenal game. It was like watching an FA cup game against division 3 opponents.

Arsenal looked really good and it was also kind of boring

I said Liverpool were out of sorts - and they need to find their rhythm with their new players

But bloody hell they were atrocious

And it's not a one-off - they've lost 3 have this week and they'd be expecting to win at least of of those 3 and draw the other- at worst!

Arsenal look the most complete team by a distance this season

Hope city can get it together to at lest offer a challenge

I wonder if the Isak signing was the wrong one for Liverpool. He's a fantastic signing but did they need him? So far Ekitike has looked more than good enough. It's a long season but they are going to have to choose between the two of them unless they try shoehorn one out wide.

Chelsea were brilliant today though. Really impressed with them

Hopefully Forest get trounced tomorrow, but you see it a lot when one team is getting pelters and a manager is under intense pressure , they find a performance

I liked the look of City in the first half - something back to their best

But 2nd half they were awful

Losing Rodri didn't help but there are signs they are getting it together but still a work in progress

It's amazing how they are so reliant on Rodri for both spoiling the opposition and dictating their own game...

Brilliant player, and does so much "unseen" work. No coincidence that their season went to pot last year when he got injured, they're so much more solid when he's there, they'll be up there challenging this season if he stays fit.
