It's like a really light mist, it's fascinating. If you follow a road called the "Cat & Fiddle" (pub at the peak) from Buxton to Macclesfield most mornings from Autumn-Spring, you will see what I mean. It's an amazing drive. Same with the road from Buxton to Leak (and you will see a dragon!). Bright sunshine in Buxton/Macc, "pea-soup" on the tops! Some of the rainbows/light shows are surreal. 1 DEFUND CHANSIRI

Can't see anything yet for Mexico as I'd genuinely love to see a game at the Azteca. I took the Mrs to Mexico City for her 40th. Incredible city. The elevation means it has a climate more like Northern. California. But my one regret is that we got absolutely leathered one night and were too hungover to get up and go to the game. World Cups are insanely expensive though. My dad used to work for the FA, scouting, and I remember him telling me in 86 they were selling cans of coke for 5 quid.
Neal M Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Anyone else in the waiting room… To simply register for the ticket draw. A draw that won’t take place for 19 days. What is this poo? I move a lot of concrete on the QVC.
Neal M Posted September 10 Posted September 10 It’s absurd. Get to the front of the queue. Enter my details. Then get kicked out as the site is under a hacking attack. So starting again. I move a lot of concrete on the QVC.
edmontonowl Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Thx. Was thinking of doing it later. Not sure I should bother.
Neal M Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I got there in the end. Had to try 4 different browsers before Safari finally worked. Shambles. I move a lot of concrete on the QVC.
Neal M Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Oh - and you must hold a visa credit or debit card. No Mastercard. No Amex. Etc. I move a lot of concrete on the QVC.
Maddogbob Posted September 11 Posted September 11 (edited) I had this for ashes tickets Neal, pre reg a week before. Sit in a queue for hours. Find out all tickets in the England end were sold. Edited September 11 by Maddogbob

Jaybeeowl Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Chill out people. Corporate tickets will be available all over the host cities in the run up to the games. Get there a day or two early. Make some connections

Managed to get some but not with England Obviously I wanted gabba tickets. The three first days went pretty sharpish before I got to them England wise. I could have got Australia tickets but didn't want to take away from local fans. Plus the football fan in me, well you don't sit in the home end. I'll try and pick some up on re sale, if not TV for me. I'll likely be busy with work that time of year. Depending if I'm still here, I'll try for England rugby league world cup tickets. No way England football play in Brisbane any time soon.
