Deluded Owl Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 They’ve got a bright new future ahead of them potentially while we continue to be owned by the most fan friendly and ambitious owner on the planet. Happy Days 7
HandsworthOwl Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Ownership is the last thing between us and the Premier league at the moment. 1 2
Big Jack Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Maybe some other Americans might be interested in the other side of the city and fancy rivaling the pigs. Let's face Americans seem to be getting a liking for owning English clubs.
Deepcar_lights Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 I pray for the day DC leaves. Honestly, it’s so frustrating. I understand it’s only football, and everything’s been said before, but you feel powerless as a supporter. 1 6
areNOTwhatTHEYseem Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 (edited) £105m for a club well-placed to return to the Premier League, eh? And according to reports, "the deal sees COH Sports take 100% control of both the men's and women's football teams, the hotel at Bramall Lane and all real estate." Makes you wonder what Chansiri would want for our club, doesn't it? Edited December 23, 2024 by areNOTwhatTHEYseem

With the pigs they're buying premiership potential, stadium, training ground, their somewhat shoddy commercial operation (but that's probably still better than ours) and a hotel. If someone bought us they'd have to pay (for starters) to have the watering system for the pitch fixed, the rebuilding of the west stand, the refurbishment of the north stand and still have to pay off whatever the spoilt brat wants as his fee. As a bonus they get all of our negative press too. It's a compelling offer. I also wouldn't be surprised if the idiot owner wanted Danny's release fee paying to him, even though he'd be staying at the club. Any takers?

We are sadly worth a fraction currently. 1 2
