 Mark Platts was destined to be a future star but after 2 league appearances he left for Torquay and it never really worked out for him 

I know one of the lads in the photo and he used to say he was different class .

I remember the talk about Mark Platts and what a good player he was,didnt realise that his first appearance was coming on as a sub replacing Chris Waddle.  That's some memory for him to have.
