fizz off brentford. Set of ********. Always hated them just from coming across their fans when we beat them in play off semis in 2005.

But tbf, excepted were down anyway.

I just can’t see how we’re going to stay up. Rotherham still have Huddersfield, Coventry and Birmingham to play. Probably need Rotherham to lose all 3 and as daft as it sounds Derby could be our best hope. Game in hand and play them last game.

But if Rotherham lose all three that merely puts those teams out of our reach and sends us and Rotherham down.

Basically we are screwed.

Yep we always had to win every game,  and it will eventually drag someone into our sites.  Winning every game isn’t very easy tho

They'd have to get a shot on target first. Not managed it so far

Didn't manage one all game

So, even after yesterday's win, we havnt cut the gap this weekend.

It's going to take three games to catch Brum and Cov, even if we managed 7pts from them and they both lost all three.

We are down.

Our game in hand is after the next round of fixtures. We simply have to beat QPR and Swansea, and for Birmingham to not beat Stoke. We’d then be 2 points behind with 5 games left and a better goal difference. That’s pretty much the only route left I can see. If we’re still 4+ points behind after the game in hand is played with 5 games left, we’re very much down

Sums up just how poo this league is when we can beat Cardiff 5-0 and Brum can get a point at Brentford.

Sadly results against sides at the bottom have done it for us and we have found a bit of form too late to turn it around. Going down by less than 6 points would be the final sickener.

Said this in another thread. Our aim should be to finish above Derby. We have a game in hand and play them on the last day. If we ca  be within 3 points of them going into that game we will have a chance. Obviously we need to finish above two others but if we target Derby then we give ourselves hope!

Typical of us to start looking a decent side with 7 games to go.

Unfortunately the gap is too big.

Looking like 48 will be what keeps you in the division this year.

We could win 4, draw 1 and lose 2 and that could still not be enough.

Be nice to just see some great performances before the end of the season and hopefully give us some optimism going into L1.

Said this before

Except the top 2

The other teams in this league are shocking

If our players could have given a ****

We'd have stayed up easily

Huddersfield don't look good.

On second thoughts there are 4 sides on 42-43 points with 6-7 games left. You’d have thought at least 1 of those will have a crap end to the season and end up on 48 or less.

We just need to focus on our own games and get 4 wins and a draw. We need a run though and I still think the next two games are must win. If we could go in to the last 5 needing 7-8 points to have a chance that would be a good outcome given where we were before kick off yesterday

Really good draw for us and nearly nicked it at the end.

It's still way too close. I still think we are 50/50 but at least we have a chance.

Your not out of it yet, huddersfield, coventry and derby are hardly putting runs together. A couple of wins and everything can change.

Also just completely ignoring Rotherham as I think if we finish below them it’s over anyway as we won’t finish above 2 of those other 4. Have to hope they get less than 13 points from their last 10 games. Which is probably quite likely given they just got battered by Wycombe and have 2-3 games a week to play, more than anyone else, and a small squad as well
