I said in another JR thread a few weeks ago it was criminal that in a season when we have been struggling for goals, the best finisher at the club wasn't playing.

This season he's started only 9 games in which he's scored 5 goals.

In those 9 games we won 3, drew 3 and lost 3.

But in 2 of those draws we were winning when he was taken off and in 2 off the losses we were drawing when he was taken off.

Nice little opinion piece on us in todays Football League paper. Makes the point that we were rubbish with a lone striker, but that playing Rhodes together with Josh Windass was a game changer against Barnsley.

One thing you can excuse Carlos with is we had Fletcher Hooper and Forestieri who probably all had a case to play ahead of him. 
 

No slant on JR, but those 3 had a lot of qualities 

Since they left, it’s inexcusable the managers who haven’t played him

IF we could afford it I would give him a new contract, less basic pay, but made up by better Bonus's, goals league pos, promotion etc. etc.

That’s been the biggest issue this season.

Midfield.

They never seem to know when to link up with the forwards or when to get back to defend, there is always HUGE  gaps between all 3 departments.

Just 9 starts this season in a team with the 2nd fewest number of goals. Shocking management.
