1 season wonders

name the player who starred for one season for Wednesday and extra point for which season they appeared

1. Hasney Aljofree (2004/05).

2. Zigor Aranalde (2004/05). 

3. Dalian Atkinson (1989/90).

4. Con Blatis (2000/01).

Starred is a bit strong,  Aljofree and Aranalde only played 3 full games between them! One sent off, one carried off in their second appearances. 

Aranalde is a strange one, I remember when he got sent off in his home debut. Never played for us again.

That was his first game for the club. I was sat on the south stand when he got sent off. It was proper weird, iirc it was against walsall

I think Aljofree made his debut at Wrexham in Sturrocks first game. To be fair, he looked a really good player.

I remember it myself.aranalde and the other player jumped for the ball and one of them won the header.next thing aranalde gets sent off and never seen again

I remember asking my dad later on why we as playing with 10 men

forget he even existed 15 mins after his dismissal

I would have been a season ticket holder in 2000/01 and seen nearly all our home games, but I have absolutely no recollection of Con Blatis whatsoever. 

Im assuming my amnesia is a good thing here.

I recall blatis actually being alright and having a long throw. I was quite young and we were quite pap so may be wrong though
