nevthelodgemoorowl Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Oldham's Boundary Park is coming on well they've only been at it twenty years 4
WadsleyOwl Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Anfield looks and will be shocking, what a mess that stadium will look, oppportunities that club have had to move on to a new stadium but the traditionalists won over. It still won't be a patch on OT, Emirates, Etihad, new WHL, Olympic, or a redeveloped Stamford Bridge. Huge ball dropped if you ask me. 1
eDDie Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 The problem with Anfield is not the new Main Stand, which in itself will be very impressive - it's how it will look next to that shitty away end. It'll look even more ridiculous than Leeds' 'one real stand and three cowsheds' concept.
mattitheowl Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Has anyone got any 'finished' pics of what it will look like? Just not bothered...

darklord Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 The crocodile is hot! The Anfield development looks nice overall when you look at everything else they are doing
Paolo Coopio Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) Has anyone seen Chelsea's new ground plans? I think it looks shocking http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/architecture-design-blog/2015/jul/03/chelseas-new-stadium-inspired-medieval-village-beyond-ugliness-roman-abramovich Edited July 12, 2015 by Paolo Coopio 1
just visiting Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 The new main stand at Anfield is going to be about 300 miles away from the pitch by the look of it! The people in the top tier will have better view of Goodison Park than they will of the players on the pitch at Anfield. 3
Geedee Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 The people in the top tier will have better view of Goodison Park than they will of the players on the pitch at Anfield. It looks awful and this is why ideally if you are going to renovate an existing stadium you should knock it down all together and start again or build a new stadium elsewhere.
Guest Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 The people in the top tier will have better view of Goodison Park than they will of the players on the pitch at Anfield. Looks similar to your main stand.

GY-owl.4 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Wtf. Why is it set in the olden days? cos it will be different? cos Abramovich can afford it and wants to go retro? gonna be awesome i reckon. really hope this comes to fruition.
