Making my first trip down on Tuesday, few questions;

Where's good to park?

Where's good to drink?

Is parking in Orpington and getting the train to Bermondsey via London Bridge a good idea?

Try parking at stanmore, tube ( jubilee line) to london bridge (pubs there) then train from London Bridge to South Bermondsey ( I believe it's about 4 minutes on the train).

In my opinion the best pub near London Bridge is the George off of Borough High St. The only galleried coaching inn left in London, and has plenty of space outside too if the weather's okay.

The Old Thameside (next to the Golden Hind clipper) isn't bad either, but it's a bit more of a walk from London Bridge Station.
