Weshallovercome Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 12,020, There must be near that on the Kop alone. the rest of the ground must have been desolate. Not quite......me, my dad and Uncle Eric were in the cantilever. It wasn't a bad turn out for a testimonial to be fair, Gerry Young was much loved(forgetting the wee wee tail up in 66 cup final, although to be fair he was injured)
Weshallovercome Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 A bad luck kit if you ask me. On reflection, you could be right there......loved that kit though.
torryowl Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 that kit wern't popular at the time ......
Sham67 Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 (edited) Id love to have that kit again just for a season. Sh!test kit ever. Never been a Wednesday kit. Sorry forgot second sh!test kit ever. That Leeds kit that Wilkinson made us wear in the Eighties is the official sh!test kit ever. We play in Blue & White stripes. Edited February 16, 2013 by Sham67

Guest greenways Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 The player in the forground is Jackie Sinclair,,,no doubt
Sham67 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Too tall and the hair is too long for Jackie Sinclair. Looks like Warboys to me.
31Dec1966 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 We are defending there, Young and Wilcockson were defenders and Tudor was a centre forward. It DOES look like Warboys but whats he doing in that position (he was anold fashioned centre forward). Definitely more like him than Wilf Smith or Sinclair.
the monk Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I reckon the player on the left is Alan Warboys I reckon youve either never seen alan warboys or you are tanked up, its clearly chris waddle
marconi Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 (edited) The more I look at it, I think it could be Don Megson..................in a wig. Jack Whitham is also in that photo. Edited February 17, 2013 by marconi
Owl Capone Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 The player in the forground is Jackie Sinclair,,,no doubt Agree its JS
torryowl Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 The player in the forground is Jackie Sinclair,,,no doubt far to big .....
BIG D Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Driving me mad this, I'm going for Don Megson though (or Wilf Smith)
Jackie Sewell Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Driving me mad this, I'm going for Don Megson though (or Wilf Smith) image.jpg I said Wilf Smith at first but with that blow up (and especially as Smith apparently wasn't playing) I'd say it's def. Megson.
